Winter Solstice

Ducks

Last night my last two meat ducks decided to go for a stroll, took me ages to get them back, in the early hours of this morning a fox got my two mother chickens and the 9 babies, I'm not prepared to lose the last two ducks. so when Paul got home from work he slaughtered them for me ( I can't do it).

Christmas shopping.

Finished all my Christmas present shopping.

The Guides and Brownies were doing a wrapping service.

Santa's not as Podgy in France.

These two looked like a comedy duo.

Britain and 60's music is very much in fashion in France (sorry about the finger).

La Gacilly

I posted a little while back about Santa not being welcome in La Gacilly, the sight of Santa's, some decapitated, hanging by there necks, I like to think its because someone in authority reads my blog, or maybe they noticed what I noticed, but they have been removed and the decorations have a better look.
Its disappointing that they haven't decorated the bridge or the weir, it certainly looks as though the village is cost cutting but there are no shortage of trees so decorating the bridge wouldn't have cost anything.
La Gacilly has a lot of tourists, Its a shame they haven't made more of an effort with the thought, if not the expense of decorating the village..

Facom

When asked what he wanted for his birthday Paul said Facom.
